Henna Tattoos
Make sure the area where your henna will be applied is clean, dry and free of sunscreen or moisturizer. Once applied, let your henna dry for at least 45 minutes before allowing anything to touch your design to avoid smearing. For best results, apply a light coat of lemon/sugar water on the paste once dried.
It is best to wait until the henna paste peels away on its own, but if you feel you must take it off, wait at least 4-5 hours. The longer your henna paste is on the skin, the better the stain and the longer the potential for your tattoo to last. If needed, remove the paste by rubbing it with food grade oil. Apply a vegetable based oil (such as olive) to the finished design.
Do not get your tattoo wet for at least 24 hours to obtain the best result. To maintain the design, do not scrub with soap at any time.
To care for your design, gently apply an oil/lotion after each wash, shower, or if you tend to have dry skin - apply oil/lotion often (shea butter, coconut butter, wheat germ oil, olive oil, etc.).
Please note that any extended periods in water will deteriorate the henna stain prematurely, causing the design to fade. If possible, keep your tattoo out of hot tubs, swimming pools, bathtubs, or other extended water activities.

Glitter Tattoos
Depending on skin type, how clean the skin is, the area where it is applied and how well you maintain your tattoo, it should last between 3 and 7 days (possibly longer with proper care).
Although your glitter tattoo is waterproof, the skin-safe glue may weaken when subjected to prolonged time in the water, such as swimming or taking a bath. After extended water submersion, PAT the area dry. Do not rub or scrub - friction will shorten the life of your design.
To extend the life of your tattoo, do not apply oils, lotion, or alcohol to the area.
To remove the glitter tattoo, use alcohol swabs, or 70-90% alcohol on a cotton swab. You may also soak the tattoo in lotion or any oil-based product for 10 minutes, and then gently rub/scrub the design away.

Face and Body Paints
Water Based Paints
(standard cosmetic grade professional face paints)
To keep your painted design looking beautiful, avoid rubbing or scratching the painted area. If you have an itch, try tapping the area instead. Avoid contact with water.
Do not leave this product on overnight. Like any cosmetic product, it is meant to be removed before bed time. If you were hoping to show someone the awesome design, we recommend taking a picture immediately after completion, when it is looking its best.
When removing your design, do not use baby wipes. The rubbing can cause irritation of the skin, as well as the chemicals that are found in many brands. These are not designed for the face and should never be used to remove an entire design.
Instead, take liquid soap or lathered soap straight to the skin and rub gently in circular motions until the design looks like mud. Use products that the face is already use to. (NOTE: Do not apply water before this step. This may drive the pigment into the pores.) Rinse with lukewarm water and repeat as necessary.
If any stubborn stains remain… rub any gentle oil ( olive, jojoba, coconut) over the area. Allow to sit for around five minutes and gently wash off.
Water Resistant - Powders
(face painting powders with or without water based paints)
This product is water resistant but not water proof. It will stay on much better in hot, sweaty conditions or in a light rain. For best results, do not apply sunscreen or lotion to the area to be painted. Do not stand in pouring rain, swim, or submerge the design in water. Do not rub the design. If you have an itch, try tapping the area instead of scratching for best results.

To remove - do not use baby wipes. Once you are ready to take the body paint off, you can use Coconut Oil, mineral Oil, Baby oil, some makeup removers, 99% Rubbing Alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or the mixing liquid.
NOTE 1: The alcohol is the most harsh and drying option. We recommend only using the 99% alcohol if no other option is available.
NOTE 2: The longer the paint is worn, the easier it is to come off when you are ready.
For Coconut oil, mineral oil and baby oil, rub gently on skin until you see paint move placement. (If you warm the oils up first, it is a bit easier for the paint to wear away.) Allow the oils to set on the skin for a few minutes, then with wipe away with slight abrasion. Once most of the paint is wiped away, apply gentle soap on skin and then rinse with water. Bathe as usual.
Some Makeup Removers and Mixing liquid can be applied to the skin with near instant paint removal. Once most of the paint is wiped away, you can then add soap on skin and then water and bathe as usual. The longer the paint is worn, the easier it is to come off when you are ready.
